Most Useless People in Kenya-#1 Alfred Mutua

Alfred Mutua, the box headed flat faced boy that shows up on TV o tell us ceaseless lies, the sight of this man merely reminds of my favourite cartoon, the Flintstones. He wears a suit but has no dignity, he is eloquent but an embarrassment. He is a sordid ignominy to this country.

There is one thing I have always failed to understand about Alfred, How does a man with a multiple degrees from reputable Universities take such an embarrassing Job. He could have taken a job at some of our universities and assist in building the nation, he could take a job from the big international NGOs and become a man of wealth and influence, instead he takes a job as the Governments mouth, everyday standing  shamelessly to tell disgraceful lies. Where does he get his gossip from? I mean saying Kenya was calm when people were getting shot all over the streets? Who told him nobody had died in the drought? Well, all that is just my first of many problems with him…

Apparently Alfred Mutua also doubles up as an urban planner. I didn’t imagine that there were quacks in the urban planning profession. One day he wakes up and decides the vegetation on Uhuru highway was inappropriate, so he has it removed and replaced it with Rocks and after a while the City council realises that in Nairobi there are a lot of hooligans and  stones tend to end up on windscreens in Nairobi so the clean up his mess and Flinstone goes scott free, The Box head should step aside!!

Then there is Golden dreams productions, the company which made Cobra squad. Cobra squad was the worst parody of an Action programme. Basically Cobra squad was a group of muscle headed Bouncers from a dingy club in eastlands who got together and decided to play baddies and cops. The idea was to use fake guns and chase each other. The scripting was awful, the effects were thwack and the cast was hopeless. How does Prezzo even star in a TV show? Cobra squad is the kind of show you watched while hiding, It was the show you watch alone, you don’t want anybody to know you were watching cobra squad. I wonder if anybody has ever bought a cobra squad DVD, I know it never sold because nobody ever Pirated it.
