Does Karua really matter?

Kenya is a tricky country, every day things keep changing. Kenya is a nation of vicissitudes, just like the weather, but unlike the weather which you can predict, Kenya is unpredictable. Old enemies become new friends, old friends become new enemies and even what is old and what is old and what is new changes.

Kenya as you can see changes a lot but unfortunately it isn’t the kind of change that you can believe in. In fact, the more things change in Kenya the more they remain the same, yes, I know it’s a paradox.

A few years ago Martha Karua was a fiery lady who bit anyone who dared sneer at Kibaki. She was in his pack, she supported him vehemently and fought for him viciously. After the election some said that she was the only man in Kibaki’s  government. She  is the only one who dared stand up against ODM, but then the acrimony subsided and she started to claim her entitlement for her dedication. She expected to become the deputy PM, she did not get that and that’s when she started to feel disillusioned, her ambition for the top job had gotten her sidelined in the core of the Kibaki regime, she was no longer useful.

Martha Karua is a very sorry example of a sordid hypocrite, she is an obvious fake and her attempts to masquerade as a reformist are not fooling everybody, It is shameful that Kenyans have fish sized memories to remember she was one of the hardliners at Serena who could have almost pushed the country off the cliff.....
I don’t think Martha even matters in the politics of this country, she is ambitious but a populist, she is a selfish opportunist and I DON’T SEE THE VIABILITY OF HER CANDIDATURE

Martha left the Kibaki team very frustrated but she had  an exit strategy. She skillfully claimed that she had left because of frustration of her reform efforts in the courts system. She had been the one who asked ODM to seek redress in the courts, now she thinks the courts are flawed? She had stood firm for the status quo for 5 years, is this when she realized Kenya needed reforms? Martha Karua had been critical in burying the Artur saga? What was she telling Kenyans about reforms? Martha Karua is a very sorry example of a sordid hypocrite, she is an obvious fake and her attempts to masquerade as a reformist are not fooling everybody, It is shameful that Kenyans have fish sized memories to remember she was one of the hardliners at Serena who could have almost pushed the country off the cliff. Let us not forget her firebrand politics that had built so much acrimony, let us not forget her role in the attempt to fool Kenyans with a shoddy constitution in 2005, Martha is a shameless impostor.

Nevertheless, I don’t think Martha even matters in the politics of this country, she is ambitious but a populist, she is a selfish opportunist and I DON’T SEE THE VIABILITY OF HER CANDIDATURE, SHE IS JUST WASTING TIME, PERIOD!!
