Wanted Men- William Ruto.

Every time I see William Ruto I think of an Alejandro, a character in a Mexican soap, You see Ruto just like Alejandro is a charming man who is emotionally hurt and there is nothing more attractive to the ladies than a hunk in distress. You see Ruto is like Alejandro, very well spoken, the kind of man who says Ole when you greet them, the kind of man who has a well kept beard and a charming smile. Just like Alejandro, Ruto is ambitious and Betrayed, yes betrayed, Ruto’s life is a drama but unlike Alejandro, he can’t get off the set, he cant even take a break and that’s a bit sad. I started this well, didn’t I? I wont ruin it by talking about the ICC.

I handle Ruto like Hot coals, he is the kind of man you need but also fear, He needs an exorcist, his closet has too many ghosts...Ruto is like the Girlfriend you love who could have been a lesbian in the past, she looks fine now but you are always suspicious she could.. you know what.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not suggesting that Ruto needs sympathy, Ruto is a big boy, he can handle himself. I nevertheless must confess, I am a bit won over by William Ruto. I admire his ambition because am also ambitious, I am captivated by his intelligence and I respect his dedication. Initially I was weary of Ruto, I saw him as a protraction of the Moi era, but I have seen he is a bit different, he is a man of action, a man of charisma and a man of courage. He has learnt his lessons well.

William has distinguished himself in the service of the people, he did marvelous at the Ministry of Agriculture and his stint at higher education was very encouraging. Unfortunately Ruto ruffled some dirty feathers and he therefore had to be disposed. Ruto has done something, he has shown us the hidden side of Odinga. Until recently I thought of Raila as the symbol of change and reform, the final cog in the wheel of change we have so unsuccessfully spun, but now I have seen a crack in his coat. Raila is just like Moi, ODM is not a party, its just a body organ of Raila Odinga, Ruto has proven to be vestigial and for that reason he has been amputated.
